7 Months Old!

Chris and I cannot believe that our little man is already seven months old. It has gone by so fast. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital and everything was so crazy. Now we are kind of getting the hang of things and really enjoying our sweet boy! He has changed so much and each day I am amazed at the new things he has learned. I am so grateful that God has blessed us and trusted us to take care of this sweet angel boy! I know how much I love Grant and I am sure Chris loves him just as much as I do, so I can not even begin to fathom how much God loves us. I am so thankful for the people in our lives who have helped us to get this far in raising this sweet boy! I have posted some pictures from Grant's birthday all the way up until today! I can't believe how much he has changed.

Not even 2 hours old!

2 weeks old!

1 month old and already so big!

5 months old! Looking back through all these pictures, I can't believe how much he has grown!

1/2 a year old!

Grant is discovering and learning new things everyday! For the majority of the time he is such a happy baby. He has his moments, but who doesn't?!

Some things about Grant at 7 months:
-He can sit up on his bottom totally unsupported
-He has two teeth on the bottom and the two on the top will be pushing through any day now
-He can roll over both ways-back to tummy and then tummy to back
-He has started to wave bye (he just started this in the last couple of days)
-He almost can pull himself all the way up to a sitting position from laying on his back
-He can push up on his knees into the tabletop position, and when he lays on his belly he will scoot around to when he wants to go

He loves to play peek-a-boo. If we put something over his face, he will pull it off and wait for us to say BOO and then he will laugh so hard! It is too cute!

7 months old! Sucking on his lip because those top teeth are causing him some real pain!

Grant's First Christmas!

We had so much fun this year celebrating the little man's first Christmas. I can only imagine how much fun it will be next year when he is a little bigger. Grandma Karen and Aunt Deanna came in town for the week. We spent Christmas morning at our house opening gifts, and then went to see Marley and Me. Then Christmas night we all went over to Grandma Ann and Big E's house and had dinner with them and Uncle Tate and Uncle Matt (sorry I don't have any picutres from that, I forgot my camera). Grant had a blast opening all his gifts and I think he now has double the stuff he had before Christmas. Santa was VERY good to him this year!

And We're Back...

I set this blog up at the beginning to keep everyone updated on how Grant is and to post new pictures, but I obviously have been slacking BIG time. So my new year's resolution is to update our blog at least once a week! Let's see how good I am at keeping my resolution! :)

On another note, we got our first TWO teeth! Hopefully he will start staying asleep the whole night, and not waking up every 4 hours because he is in pain.
